Vijay Deverakonda breaks the Non-Baahubali record

Vijay Deverakonda, who shot to an unprecedented stardom with ‘Arjun Reddy’ and ‘Geetha Govindam’ is a rage not in Telugu states, but in Tamilnadu as well. His popularity increased by leaps and bounds in Tamilnadu. “Geetha Govindam” is a smash hit in Tamil too. According to Tamil trade analysts, the film grossed more than Rs 5 Cr in Tamilnadu so far setting a new record for a Telugu film. It is a non-Baahubali record, declared a trade analyst. “#GeethaGovindam is a non-Baahubali record holder in TN, grossing more than 5 CR in the state. Unexpected, undisputed blockbuster!,” he tweeted. The movie was not dubbed into the Tamil language. The Telugu version has grossed such massive collection. Surprisingly, it’s only Vijay Deverakonda after Mahesh Babu from Tollywood to have a huge following in Tamilnadu.

Balakrishna turns a Rickshaw puller

Actor and politician Nandamuri Balakrishna turned a rickshaw puller. It’s not for election campaign or for some other purpose but for a part of his role in the movie. Pictures of Balakrishna riding the Rickshaw were leaked on the social media. Director Krish is filming the Divi Seema floods situations that left thousands homeless and devastated in 1977. It’s love affair between Prabhas and Pooja Hegde

‘Rebelstar’ Prabhas who is busy with ‘Saaho’ put the movie shooting on hold for a while and started the shooting of his 20th movie directed by Radhakrishna of ‘Jil’ fame. The movie’s shooting started a few days ago in Italy and a few key scenes will be canned by Prabhas, and Pooja Hegde. Touted to be a love story set in the 1980s backdrop in Europe, the movie is tentatively titled ‘Amour’ (Love in French). However, an official announcement is yet to be made. Amit Trivedi, the national award-winning music composer will score the music and Sreekar Prasad is the editor for the movie. ‘Race Gurram’ and ‘Ye Maya Chesave’ fame Manoj Paramahamsa is the DOP.
