My friend grabbed my breast, confesses Pooja Bhatt


The #MeToo movement is going strong in Indian cinema. After Kangana Ranaut, Tanushree Dutta and several other actresses opening up about their experiences, senior actress and filmmaker Pooja Bhatt came forward to reveal what she has gone through. At the India Today Conclave East 2018, Pooja Bhatt disclosed that once a male friend had grabbed her breast at an airport. ‘The enemy could be sitting right next to you. Women need to be smart enough to confront their sexual offenders,’ she says.
She also slammed those who found fault with Tanushree Dutta for speaking about an incident which happened a decade ago. Pooja Bhatt admits Bollywood doesn’t come forward to support the victim when such disturbing things happen. ‘If our homes aren’t secure, how can the world be any different?,’ questions Pooja Bhatt.

Vijay Deverakonda breaks the Non-Baahubali record

Vijay Deverakonda, who shot to an unprecedented stardom with ‘Arjun Reddy’ and ‘Geetha Govindam’ is a rage not in Telugu states, but in Tamilnadu as well. His popularity increased by leaps and bounds in Tamilnadu. “Geetha Govindam” is a smash hit in Tamil too. According to Tamil trade analysts, the film grossed more than Rs 5 Cr in Tamilnadu so far setting a new record for a Telugu film. It is a non-Baahubali record, declared a trade analyst. “#GeethaGovindam is a non-Baahubali record holder in TN, grossing more than 5 CR in the state. Unexpected, undisputed blockbuster!,” he tweeted. The movie was not dubbed into the Tamil language. The Telugu version has grossed such massive collection. Surprisingly, it’s only Vijay Deverakonda after Mahesh Babu from Tollywood to have a huge following in Tamilnadu.
